On the whole it\u2019s too crazy to play with sketchy data availability. Gasoline $1.84 is REALLY BAD and indicates real demand destruction \u2013 especially when you consider Ukraine is knocking another Russian refinery off-line every day \u2013 things are just so crazy all over the world\u2026<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\/NG hit $3.029 and now $3.069 and we love it down here. For the STP, let\u2019s:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/101325\/EQTd102553382i.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer ugc\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/101325\/EQTd102553382i.png\" alt=\"comment image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Buy 20 EQT March $50 calls for $7.50 ($15,000)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Sell 20 EQT Dec $55 calls for $3 ($6,000)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Sell 10 EQT Dec $52.50 puts for $3.20 ($3,200)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>That\u2019s net $5,800 on the $10,000 spread but the March $60 calls are $3 so hopefully it will be a $20,000 spread if EQT has good earnings (21st) as we roll the short calls with $14,200 (244%) upside potential in less than 6 months.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>If flat, we\u2019ll sell more short calls and end up with a free spread and, if down, we may have to roll our short puts but also we\u2019ll sell more short-term calls and pay for the spread and owning EQT at net $50 or less would be below 10x and seems like a good deal to me!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>That trade has an EXCELLENT risk\/reward profile \u2013 especially when you take into account what we \u201crisk\u201d owning:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udef3\ufe0f EQT Corporation (EQT) \u2013 TOP PICK:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Largest NG producer in US,\u00a0Appalachian Basin focused<\/li>\n<li>Recent price:\u00a0$54.87\u00a0(down 2.74% but\u00a0gaining momentum)<\/li>\n<li>Catalysts:\u00a02.5 Bcf\/d data center opportunities\u00a0via\u00a0Mountain Valley Pipeline<\/li>\n<li>Fundamental edge:\u00a0CEO Toby Rice\u00a0positioning\u00a0EQT\u00a0as\u00a0largest NG producer<\/li>\n<li>Analyst support:\u00a0Scotiabank\u00a0raised\u00a0price target\u00a0to\u00a0$70<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpd-comment-footer\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This one is a short-term trade idea from our morning chat room:\u00a0\u00a0 Oil $59.74\/63.51 means yes, we should have gone long at $58.50 (topped out at $60.20).
