Now we&#8217;re 3 months into our new set and the gains are just as silly and you have to ask yourself &#8211; where does all this money come from? Well, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/2025\/09\/15\/meaningless-monday-the-feds-illusion-and-the-realities-of-main-street\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on Monday we discussed the massive increase in the Money Supply<\/a> and $10Tn printed this year has to go somewhere &#8211; and the markets happen to be the ideal vehicle to launder the US&#8217;s freshly-printed CASH!!!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow, we&#8217;ll get the Fed&#8217;s plan for the next $10Tn and, if rates are going down (and they are &#8211; one way or the other) &#8211; then it&#8217;s likely that money is going to find it&#8217;s way into the Housing Market &#8211; so that&#8217;s a sector we&#8217;ll be paying more attention to into 2026. Banks are also going to start doing well and maybe there&#8217;s more room in Tech before the bubble bursts &#8211; but, frankly, that&#8217;s where we have our hedges.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12842033 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SPX-Sept-16-2025.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"324\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SPX-Sept-16-2025.png 324w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SPX-Sept-16-2025-300x167.png 300w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/SPX-Sept-16-2025-150x83.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 324px) 100vw, 324px\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/2025\/08\/12\/philstockworld-august-portfolio-review-members-only-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The S&amp;P was at 6,373 for our Aug 12th Portfolio Review<\/a> and now we&#8217;re at 6,615 &#8211; up 3.7% for the month and that&#8217;s fine with us as we decided last month to &#8220;<em>go with the flow<\/em>&#8221; and follow the Oligarchy &#8211; betting on the rich to get richer. This month, however, we&#8217;ll be looking to take a little off the table and move back towards 50% CASH!!! &#8211; because this is just getting silly(er &#8211; again!) as the markets are getting ahead of themselves and there&#8217;s nothing Powell can do tomorrow to justify and 11.666% run since June.<\/p>\n<p>Q2 Earnings Season has been spectacular BUT, when you look at the Heat Map, there is a HELL OF A LOT of red on the board for the past month. That&#8217;s because we&#8217;re having a very narrow rally and the reason we&#8217;re beating the market by a country mile is because we&#8217;re VERY good at picking stocks for our Members but now entire sectors are being carried by a few select outperformers like ORCL (+27%), TSLA (+27%), GOOG\/L (+24%), AVGO (+20%), UNH (+15%)&#8230; This EXREMELY narrow group is no way to run a proper rally:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12842034\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1201\" height=\"654\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025.jpg 1201w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025-300x163.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025-1024x558.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025-768x418.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025-150x82.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025-696x379.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Heat-Sept-16-2025-1068x582.jpg 1068w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1201px) 100vw, 1201px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>And where is OpenAI? Not public yet but they have over $300Bn worth of contracts with ORCL, which has made Larry Ellison <\/strong>(Trump&#8217;s buddy)<strong> the richest man in the World, passing Elon Musk <\/strong>(Trump&#8217;s ex-buddy)<strong> at about $450Bn. Where will this $300Bn come from? Open AI has 700M active users but only 20M paying subscribers so call it $400M a month = $4.8Bn a year so HOW WILL THEY PAY ORCL $300Bn? How? HOW???<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sorry, just kidding. Best not to think about such things or the market will collapse under the weight of logic. The rich are getting richer (especially if they are friends of Trump) and the Consumers are at the end of their rope &#8211; let the reviews begin!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Money Talk Portfolio:<\/strong> Although we can&#8217;t touch it between shows, the Money Talk Portfolio bounced back to $207,850 (up 107.9%) and l<a href=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/2025\/08\/12\/philstockworld-august-portfolio-review-members-only-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ast month we went out of the way to point out 6 of our trades (OZK, PFE, SYF, TGT, WHR and XOM) that were great for new trades and had $185,798 worth of upside potential<\/a>. For a portfolio we can only adjust once per quarter, we&#8217;re in fantastic shape&#8230;\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>$700\/Month Portfolio Review:<\/strong> Our other rule-restricted portfolio. We began on Aug 25th, 2022 by depositing $700 and added that much each month in a no-margin, IRA\/401K type account and it&#8217;s been 37 months and we&#8217;ve deposited $25,900 yet the portfolio is already at $69,141 and that&#8217;s up $43,241 (167%) in our first 3 years. <strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">At this pace, we will hit our Million Dollar goal in 6 years (2031)!<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/2025\/09\/04\/how-to-become-a-millionaire-by-investing-700-per-month-part-37-360-year-4-begins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Since our Sept 4th review<\/a>, we only added Barrick (B) and we have a nice amount of CASH!!! Then we can buy 5 more $10 calls ($3,500) and sell 5 Jan $19 calls for $1.40 ($700)<\/span><\/strong>. If we can do that 4 more times next year, we are essentially getting the extra $9,000 (at $28) worth of protection for free.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091625\/SQQQd063065030i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Short-Term Portfolio (STP) Review:<\/strong> Speaking of hedges, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/2025\/09\/12\/pre-fed-friday-closing-out-a-fabulous-week\/#comment-8150562\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">we JUST reviewed the STP on Friday<\/a> and we cashed out our Pharmas (as they are on Trump&#8217;s Enemies List now). We have approximately $250,000 worth of downside protection in the STP and we also have plenty of CASH!!!, so we&#8217;ll be looking for some short-term trades to make a bit of money on if the market continues not to die.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12842037\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1381\" height=\"878\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025.jpg 1381w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025-300x191.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025-1024x651.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025-768x488.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025-150x95.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025-696x442.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/STP-Sept-16-2025-1068x679.jpg 1068w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1381px) 100vw, 1381px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The purpose of the short puts is to provide an offset to the cost of our hedges <\/strong>(if the market goes up instead of down)<strong>. While all of our long positions are an offset, this is a direct one within the portfolio. We collected $109,550 for simply promising to buy stocks at a discount that we&#8217;d like to own anyway &#8211; it&#8217;s a nice job if you can get it!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So, if the market goes higher, barring individual catastrophes (but these are not gambling stocks, are they?), we should pocket that $109,550 and then we can put that money towards the next round of hedges.<\/p>\n<p>If the market goes down, however, what do we have?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>We have 15 SPY $640 puts and SPY is at $660. If the S&amp;P drops 20%, that would take us to $528 and this spread would be $150,000 in the money. The current net is $37,410 so we have <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">$112,590+ (5 are uncovered) of downside protection with this spread<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>We have 140 SQQQ 2027 $15 calls and SQQQ is at $16.19 and it&#8217;s a 3x inverse ETF to the Nasdaq (QQQ) so a 20% drop there would be (more or less) a 60% gain on SQQQ to $25.90. Let&#8217;s call that a $11 x 140(x100) calls is $154,000 and the current net of this spread is $63,075 so that&#8217;s net <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">$90,925 of downside protection with this spread<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That means we have about $200,000 of downside protection overall and it&#8217;s a bit less than I thought but that&#8217;s because we got more aggressive ahead of the Fed and bought back our short calls (which reduces our basis but caps our gains). We will add them back on later and, if the market is up or flat, the shorts we sell will expire worthless and reduce our hedging cost ($100,485), which has already been reduced by the short puts!<\/p>\n<p><strong>If, on the other hand, we do have a correction, there will be $200,000 to cover adjustments or losses on our longs AND we&#8217;ll be able to sell short-term positions against our hedges for much more money and that will ALSO lower our cost basis.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Many, many ways to win when you play this game correctly&#8230;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Long-Term Portfolio (LTP) Review:\u00a0<\/strong>Speaking of many ways to win &#8211; <strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">$753,543 is up $79,235 (11.7%) for the month<\/span><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/2025\/08\/12\/philstockworld-august-portfolio-review-members-only-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">since our last review on Aug 12th<\/a> and that, by the way, is a good rule of thumb for our hedges as we should assume all of those gains can vanish in a puff of smoke so $200,000+ in STP protection should certainly cover our recent gains.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Overall, <strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">we&#8217;re up 52.6% from our $500,000 start on June 4th<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; so a very nice return for our first 3 months but it&#8217;s a crazy market and we DO expect a correction&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>After raising our cash back over 50% last month, we added 13 new positions but, as I noted in yesterday&#8217;s Webinar, almost all of our positions are now Income-Producing Trades and that means we&#8217;re less concerned about whether they&#8217;ll go higher than we are about how much money we expect them to bring in.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s a more defensive posture but it does not absolve us from having to realistically assess our positions and their long-term targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12842094\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1311\" height=\"1727\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025.jpg 1311w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-228x300.jpg 228w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-777x1024.jpg 777w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-768x1012.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-1166x1536.jpg 1166w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-150x198.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-300x395.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-696x917.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.philstockworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/LTP-1-Sept-16-2025-1068x1407.jpg 1068w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1311px) 100vw, 1311px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>PATH &#8211; This is one of the ones we are playing aggressively and we&#8217;re behind so far and <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">it only costs us $1 to roll our 50 2027 $10 calls ($3.80) to the 2028 $10 calls ($4.80) &#8211; so let&#8217;s do that<\/span><\/strong> and we have 12 more months to sell. The raises our net to $23,510 so I guess we should sell 25 short Jan $12.50 calls for $1.10 ($2,750), using 120 of the 855 days we have to sell. 7 sales like that will recover $19,250 and we STILL intend to cover the long calls at some point so, hopefully, this will end up being a free spread and the $23,510 will go back on our CASH!!! pile.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/PATHd090263221i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do we have a plan that makes realistic sense? THAT is what we need to think about with EVERY position. Obviously, if the stock goes higher &#8211; we make money. But what if it&#8217;s flat? What if it goes down? If we are comfortable with our plan for all 3 scenarios going forward &#8211; then why not keep the stock but, if not, why keep it?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>ALLY &#8211; We sold the Sept puts and calls for $2,400 and we owe the Sept callers back $2,835 so a small loss for this cycle but the 2027 spread is up net $7,175 so no crying over a drop of spilled milk when we drank the whole saucer. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">We can roll the $2,835 to 5 short Dec $42 puts at $1.75 ($875) and 10 short Dec $45 calls at $1.40 ($1,400)<\/span><\/strong> and that&#8217;s $2,275 so it will cost us $560 to make the roll but we still have the $2,400 we collected so now we are in the Dec short spread for net $1,840.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/ALLYd091671887i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>B &#8211; Brand new, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">good for a new trade<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>COIN &#8211; See how nice it is when you are hitting your targets?!?<\/li>\n<li>CSCO &#8211; Brand new, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">good for a new trade<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>EPD &#8211; Again, on target and making $$$!\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>ERJ &#8211; A little over target but no worries.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>FI &#8211; This one we&#8217;re aggressively long on and what a disaster! We bought back the short calls so the loss isn&#8217;t so bad but now it is what it is and it is ugly! Earnings were good and the stock is too cheap and last month I said we&#8217;d wait for October earnings and I don&#8217;t see a reason to change that.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/FId091979527i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>FSLR &#8211; Earnings were great so <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">let&#8217;s buy back the short Oct $160 puts ($510) and sell 5 Dec $200 puts for $16.20 ($8,100)<\/span><\/strong> because we can always roll them down to 10 Dec $160 puts at $4.20 so how stupid would it be not to take the money as we&#8217;re carrying the same assignment risk but making an extra $7,500!\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/FSLRd092574840i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sell premium, Sell Premium and, when in doubt: SELL PREMIUM!!!<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>GILD &#8211; Trump wants to crack down on drug prices but this is set up as an income-producing position and we&#8217;re only in for net $13,200 so I&#8217;m inclined to stick with this for now.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>INTC &#8211; Just popped on partnership with NVDA and that&#8217;s not ideal for our short Dec $25 calls but it&#8217;s great for the rest of our spread &#8211; so let&#8217;s adjust: Our main spread is 25 Dec 2027 $15s covered by 20 Jan 2027 $22 calls. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The $22 calls are now $12.50 ($25,000) and the 2028 $30s are $11 so, if we sell 25 of those for $27,500, that&#8217;s a better than even roll<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>That does not help at all with the <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">short Dec $25 calls, now $8,025 but we can roll them to 20 short Jan $33 calls at $4 ($8,000) and sell 10 short Jan $30 puts at $3.25 ($3,250)<\/span><\/strong> and we&#8217;ll see how that plays out.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>So we&#8217;ve put about $5,000 back in our pocket (net $8,000 now) and widened our spread by $20,000 &#8211; THAT is how you roll out of trouble! It should be noted that we now have 20 naked short Jan $32 calls but we&#8217;ll be happy to buy 20 2028 $25s ($27,500) to cover them as that would be a $17,500 spread with 2 years to roll the short calls higher or, if INTC doesn&#8217;t go higher or goes lower &#8211; 2 more years to sell more short calls for premium. If that&#8217;s our worst case &#8211; I am fine with it!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/INTCd114406196i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Congrats to President Trump, who owns 10% of INTC <\/strong>(through his Government)<strong> and now NVDA has made a deal with INTC that has popped it&#8217;s value by 30% <\/strong>($44Bn)<strong>, giving Trump a quick $4.4Bn profit. And now Trump will allow NVDA to sell chips to China and other questionable security risks to return the favor and it&#8217;s all OK because THAT is how Government works now!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>JPM &#8211; Over our target but that is October&#8217;s problem (after we see earnings). Again, though JPM had a tremendous jump, we only have 2 uncovered short calls (out of 20) so there&#8217;s nothing to panic over. We paid net $8,600 for the spread (not counting the short-term calls) so our profit on our first sale is 13% &#8211; that&#8217;s reasonable!\u00a0 Meanwhile, we missed to the upside and our long spread is up net $35,225 and that&#8217;s 409% so, overall, it&#8217;s been a good 2 months!\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s a $105,000 spread at net $43,825 so 150% left to gain plus the short-term sales means there&#8217;s no reason to get out of this spread so let&#8217;s just sell more premium: <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Sell 7 Jan $470 calls for $26 ($18,200) and 5 Jan $450 puts for $14.35 ($7,175)<\/span><\/strong> and there&#8217;s another potential $25,000 we can make over the next 120 days!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/LMTd121279161i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>And notice how we casually drop $25,000 back onto our CASH!!! pile. These things add up nicely&#8230; In my head, I wanted to get back to 50% cash so we needed $100,000 and I&#8217;m keeping tabs in my head &#8211; looking for little ways to get to our goal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>MU &#8211; One of our new ones and we got blown out on the short calls! Still, we&#8217;re up a very quick (2 weeks) $17,673 and we only paid net $3,925 so we&#8217;ve gained 450% in 14 days &#8211; that takes the sting out of the loss on the short-term calls, right? It&#8217;s only a $60,000 spread and the <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">current net is $57,762 on the 2027s so we CASH THEM OUT!!!<\/span><\/strong> That&#8217;s something you need to be aware of or you end up tying up money unproductively.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>NOW we need to cover our short calls. There&#8217;s 7 of them at $46.43 ($32,498) and <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">the 2028s are out so we&#8217;re going to buy 15 2028 $150 calls for $60.75 ($91,125) and we&#8217;ll roll the 7 short Nov $125s to 15 short 2028 $200s at $42 ($63,000) and we&#8217;ll sell 10 2028 $140 puts for $26 ($26,000) and we&#8217;ll ignore the short Nov $120 puts ($688) and we&#8217;ll sell 5 Jan $170 calls for $21.30 ($10,650) and 5 Jan $160 puts for $14.30 ($7,150)<\/span><\/strong> and that is all net $16,823 spent our of the $57,762 we cashed out so $40,939 dropped to the CASH!!! pile AND we still have a $75,000 spread &#8211; <strong>aren&#8217;t options fun?!?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/MUd121613598i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>ON &#8211; This one is kind of on track.<\/li>\n<li>ORCL &#8211; We&#8217;re going to make $23,500 on those short Nov calls &#8211; that was the whole point of the trade and the rest we&#8217;ll work out after that. We paid net $90,000(ish) for the long spread and $23,500 is 26% of that on our first sale with many more to come.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/ORCLd123341117i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">PHM &#8211; Another one that blasted past our target but no hurry to roll.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">PINS &#8211; Oh, the beauty of expiring on target, right?!? So we&#8217;re making about $5,150 on our first set or short puts and calls and we spent net $8,875 on the $30,000 spread (that is already almost 100% in the money) and, 3 months later, we&#8217;ve already collected 58% selling short Sept puts and calls. The target is still about right so <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">let&#8217;s sell 7 Jan $36 calls for $4 ($2,800) and 7 Jan $36 puts for $3.10 ($2,170)<\/span><\/strong> so, if we are within $7.10 (19.7%) of $36 at expiration &#8211; we will make more money!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/publish.finviz.com\/091825\/PINSd124071175i.png\" alt=\"Finviz Chart\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>PPL &#8211; On target.<\/li>\n<li>QCOM &#8211; Another new one, <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">good for a new trade.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>RIO &#8211; It&#8217;s over our target but we&#8217;re still profitable on the short pair. Unfortunately, we sold way tooo many short-term calls so we&#8217;re going to buy the short Oct $9s back for $37,125 and we&#8217;re going to:\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Sell 75 Jan $14 calls for $2.70 ($20,250) and sell 50 Jan $12 puts for $1.50 ($7,500) and we&#8217;re going to roll our 100 2027 $7 calls at $8.10 ($81,000) to 150 2028 $12 calls at $7.30 ($109,500) and we&#8217;ll roll our 100 2027 short $12 calls at $5.75 ($57,500) to 150 short 2028 $20 calls at $5.60 ($84,000).<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Surprisingly, that&#8217;s only (((-$37,125 + $20,250 + 7,500 =) -$9,375) + (($81,000 &#8211; $109,500 &#8211; $57,500 + $84,000 =) -$2,000) =) $11,375 spent on adjustments and the original spread cost us net $250 so now we&#8217;re in what is now a $120,000 spread for net $11,375 and we&#8217;re about $30,000 in the money already with a MASSIVE potential income stream.
