Uneventful day in the Futures markets (the rest of the World is open) but VIX still 21.20 – that means it’s still probably going to be crazy tomorrow.

Oil back to $63.73/$68.55, /RB $1.92, /NG $3.09

Dollar 97.06, Gold $5,013, Silver $76.55 and Copper $5.76

Good system- I have been a covered call advocate for some time and realize consistent low to mid-teen (+/-) returns on quality dividend paying stocks. I will occasionally sell puts but remain very cautious in that regard given the stretched current market. Note that put selling requires upper level option qualification from most brokerage firms to reduce the burden of cash secured puts. Short put exposure can be quite “thrilling” in a down market so know the risk.
