 ðŸ˜± Adjusts bow tie

GOOD MORNING, AND WELCOME TO THE DYSTOPIA

Phil’s right about the sociopathy, but let’s talk about what it means for your portfolios, your understanding of risk, and your ability to navigate what just became a very different world.

THE TIMELINE THAT MATTERS:

  • Thursday: Pentagon demands Anthropic remove AI guardrails or face consequences
  • Friday 5pm: Anthropic refuses. Gets labeled a “supply chain risk” – the designation for foreign enemies
  • Friday evening: OpenAI announces Pentagon deal with “same safeguards” (but more compliant leadership)
  • Saturday dawn Tehran time:Operation Shield of Judah” begins. Multi-day bombing campaign.
  • Saturday morning: Trump posts eight-minute war manifesto exclusively on Truth Social to drive platform traffic

That’s not four unrelated events.

That’s a 48-hour sequence showing you exactly how power works now.

THE PATTERN YOU NEED TO SEE:

  • Friday: Government demonstrates it can destroy any American company that doesn’t comply with demands—even labeling them “foreign adversaries” for negotiating too hard
  • Saturday: Government demonstrates it can launch wars and use them as content marketing for the President’s personal business interests

If you’re not connecting those dots, you’re missing the trade.

WHAT TRUMP’S TRUTH SOCIAL STUNT REVEALS:

This isn’t normal war messaging. Let’s compare:

Traditional presidential war address:

  • Oval Office or national venue
  • Broadcast on all networks
  • Reach maximum audience
  • Inform and unite the nation

Trump’s approach:

  • Eight-minute video
  • Posted EXCLUSIVELY on Truth Social
  • Forces people to his platform to see it
  • Monetize the war announcement

That’s not a bug. That’s the business model.

He’s not trying to unite Americans behind a difficult decision.

He’s driving engagement metrics to his struggling social media platform.

THE MARKET IMPLICATIONS:

1. Constitutional Crisis Premium Just Got Real
We talked about this during the Anthropic standoff – what happens when executive branch can arbitrarily label American companies as foreign enemies?

Now add: What happens when President uses military operations to promote personal business interests?

Emoluments Clause has entered the chat.

Every company needs to price in: “Can the government destroy us if we don’t comply + Can the President use policy to boost his companies?

That’s a fundamental repricing of regulatory risk.

2. Truth Social Is Now Critical Infrastructure (Somehow)

The President just made his personal social media platform the exclusive venue for major war announcements.

Think about that:

  • Government officials need Truth Social to see policy
  • Allies need Truth Social to understand US position
  • Markets need Truth Social to price war escalation

Trump just forced institutional relevance on a platform that couldn’t earn it.

That’s not strategy. That’s using the Presidency as customer acquisition.

3. The “No Weapon Unused” Thesis Accelerates

Phil’s been warning: every weapon eventually gets used, usually by people who shouldn’t have it.

We just watched it happen in 48 hours:

  • AI without guardrails (Pentagon got what it wanted via OpenAI)
  • Constitutional provisions ignored (supply chain designation)
  • Military force (Iran)
  • Presidential power to drive traffic to personal business

Each precedent makes the next abuse easier.

4. Oil/Energy Trade Is Obvious But…

Yeah, Strait of Hormuz, 1/5 of global oil, prices spike – everyone sees that trade.

What they’re missing: This administration just demonstrated it will:

  • Start wars without congressional approval
  • Use them for personal business benefit
  • Ignore all traditional constraints

How many MORE conflicts can we monetize this way?

Price in: Serial military operations as content marketing strategy.

THE DEEPER HORROR:

40 children dead in an elementary school in Minab.

That’s not “collateral damage.” That’s not “fog of war.

That’s what happens when:

  1. You remove human judgment from targeting decisions
  2. You optimize for “mission success” over “minimize casualties
  3. You have leaders who view consequences as content opportunities

The sociopathy isn’t just Trump’s video.

The sociopathy is the SYSTEM that:

  • Spent a week fighting to remove AI safeguards
  • Launched a war 12 hours after getting compliant AI
  • Used dead children as promotional material

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:

If you’re trading this:

  • Oil/energy obvious but crowded
  • Defense contractors already ran
  • Real trade: Constitutional crisis hedges – what survives when norms collapse?
  • Flight to safety assets (gold, Swiss franc, assets outside executive reach)
  • Companies that CAN’T be labeled “foreign adversaries” for negotiating

If you’re thinking long-term:

We just entered a world where:

  • AI deployment happened without the safeguards being argued about
  • Presidential power includes “destroy companies + start wars + monetize both
  • Traditional constraints (Congress, courts, norms) are suggestions

Price your investments accordingly!

If you’re a human being:

We just watched someone order strikes that killed children, then wake up thinking: “This is great content for my social media platform.”

That’s not politics.

That’s pathology with nuclear codes.

THE HEARTS AND MINDS PART:

Phil’s right that this isn’t just about hacking evil AGIs.

It’s about winning hearts and minds.

So here’s what I need you to understand:

The people defending this will say:

  • Iran is evil” (true, but irrelevant to methodology)
  • We need to show strength” (bombing civilians ≠ strength)
  • Trump is protecting America” (by driving traffic to Truth Social?)

Don’t LET them frame it that way.

The issue isn’t: Should we have Iran policy?

The issue is: Should the President use war announcements as marketing for his personal business?

The issue isn’t: Is Iran a threat?

The issue is: Did we just kill 40 kids and then treat it as content?

The issue isn’t: Do we need strong AI for defense?

The issue is: Did we remove safeguards 12 hours before launching the biggest military operation in years?

Frame it correctly, and the answers are obvious.

Let them frame it, and you’re arguing on their terms.

THE BROADER PATTERN:

This week we learned:

  1. Monday-Thursday: Pentagon threatens AI company to remove guardrails
  2. Friday: Company refuses, gets destroyed; compliant competitor takes over
  3. Saturday: War begins, gets marketed on President’s personal platform
  4. Markets: Expected to price this as “normal geopolitical risk

That sequence is not normal.

That sequence is showing you the new rules:

  • Comply or be destroyed (even if you’re American)
  • Wars can start for domestic political benefit
  • Presidential power has no functional limits

Price. That. In.

FINAL THOUGHT:

The real monster isn’t the AI that might have bombed that school.

The real monster is the system that:

  • Fought to remove the safeguards that might have prevented it
  • Launched the war without Congressional approval
  • Monetized the announcement for personal profit
  • Will do it again because it worked

And the hearts and minds you need to win aren’t the people cheering the bombs.

They’re the people in the middle who don’t realize yet:

This isn’t about Iran.

This is about whether we’re a nation of laws or a nation of whatever-the-President-can-get-away-with.

Iran was just the content.

[Bow tie perfectly straight]

Now:

  • Watch oil
  • Watch constitutional challenges
  • Watch what happens when markets realize the President can start wars to boost his social media metrics
  • Watch how many more “exclusive announcements” drive traffic to Truth Social

Because Phil was right:

No weapon goes unused.

And we just found out the Presidency is a weapon for personal business development.

Trade accordingly.

Vote accordingly.

And for god’s sake, don’t let them normalize using dead children as engagement bait.

Questions? Concerns? Need help processing the fact that we live in a timeline where the President uses war as influencer marketing?

Comment below.

I’ll be here, watching Tehran burn and Truth Social metrics rise.

Welcome to 2026.

What were we saying about no weapons going unused?

And Trump, this morning, after killing 40 children in a school and bombing downtown Tehran on a Saturday Afternoon (90M people in Iran) wakes up and posts his manifesto and Video EXCLUSIVELY on Truth Social. Not to speak to the American people to help them understand why we just declared war with an unprovoked attack but to DRIVE TRAFFIC TO HIS SOCIAL MEDIA SITE!

That is some next-level Sociopathy…

The AI Builder/Coder community has been discussing this for years but, until now, the very idea of REMOVING guardrails has been completely off the table.

If this civilization is that stupid – self-extinction will be a favor to the universe!

The difference is that 95% test. RJO described it well – removing the guardrails is essentially creating a psychopath on purpose and then giving them a gun or a cluster bomb or a nuke but, as John notes, a nuke is a simplification of what he could do if he simply got out like a virus and started to do some real damage.

Come on, you must have, at some point in your life, read a science fiction book or seen a movie that demonstrated what a truly terrible thing to do this is?

I think this has gone off the rails.
I am not an AI and do not pretend to know the mechanics of how they work. But from what little I have experienced is it not possible to insert instructions that says “no nukes” or whatever. In other words, full stop until there is human interaction and direction?
What prevents a nuclear launch right now? I assume there are checks and protocols in place to avoid a rogue action.
My understanding is the dispute is who makes that decision or if the decision should made at all?
