I personify everything. I’d blame the kids but I’ve always done it – maybe it helps me focus to always think of a specific person but yes, it’s just buying one and selling another although OXPS has an actual roll feature so I’m not the only person who thinks this way…

Reading this literally it transllates you actually know the buyer of the call that you sold. I thought “rolling” was simply selling an existing call (typically soon to expire) and buying a same/different strike price call in the following month? Or am I reading too much into the statement, and it is purely a “Phiglet” to personalize an impersonal transaction?

😉

Interesting… On the daily chart, it looks like it’s about to fall off a cliff. Closed below 70.1, a strong support which it hasn’t traded below since 12/11! All charts show more possibility of continuing the downtrend. The only thing that bothers me is that the lowest analyst target is 70! The intraday charts are showing bottoms. If it gets some bounce tomorrow above 70.1, and, falls below 70.1 on good volume in the next couple of days, I’d look to buy puts.

PBR
Also look to fall more. Support at 95 is very important. Breaking that can send it to 90! Btw, I think the oil is down in Asian markets tonight.

MA
It is going to be a fun one to play with for a while, starting tomorrow!

WYNN/LVS/MGM
All went down big time on Friday! WYNN closed right at support, around 104.2. Breaking that could send it to 95!! I think LVS will test 90 tomorrow. MGM didn’t go as much as the other two, but, the selling volume was still respectable. Could be more coming!

FD
Daily chart looks bullish. breaking out of this 43 barrier could be significant. Options are pretty reasonable.

The general feel from the market on Friday is that the fund managers wanted to hold cash. Waiting for a clearer picture, perhaps? G7, oils, Bernake? Going to be an interesting and possibly VERY profitable week! =)
